Mike,

The general wisdom when moving up from 6.0.x is to take small steps. If possible, move the structure from 6.0 to 6.5, compact and compile. Then go to 6.7 or 6.8, repeat, then go to 2003. Do you have Sanitycheck? That utility might find something that could be contributing to the problem.

Other things to consider. Are there any old externals (plug-ins) installed in the structure? If there are remove them with Resedit or the plug-in installers if you still have them.

You might also get more feedback if you ask this question on the 4D NUG.

What platform are you running on?

I am coming from 4d 6.0.6 and have a very large application. I am trying
to get it compiled in 2003.6 and it crashes when compiling. No warnings,
just a clean close of the program.

Advice?

Thank you very much!

Mike
