Aparajita suggested this method:

1. Create a shortcut / alias inside the web folder of the "pdfs" and "previews' folder.

2. add the path to the store folder to the "safe script dirs"

I can use the create alias command to recreate my aliases, (so that'll work great). However if the user updates their Active4D folder they will loose the path to the "safe script dirs".

Why would the user be messing around with Active4D.ini or updating the Active4D folder?

Is it possible to set this value programmatically, I've checked the docs and can't find a way. Or should I just open the file, make the changes and write to the file and hope Active4D picks up the changes?

If you change any config files or libraries they are reloaded after a bit.
