Hi all,

If you set up your database to use a decoy root folder like Aparajita suggests (web_Decoy) and are using 4D 2004.x, then you no longer need to prefix Active4D form submission urls with "4dcgi/".

I'm guessing this works as 4D 2004 now handles "unknown" urls and using a decoy folder means all urls are viewed by 4D 2004 as "unknown".

The key however is that 4D appears to pass these unknowns to On Web Connection which means any form variables are parsed and can be used by Active4D.

Works with Active4D v3. upwards.

Maybe this is obvious but I hadn't noticed this until today. Can someone confirm that this is the case and that I'm not going mad!

Regards, Michael.
