I'm having a heck of a time trying to set up SSL on a Server.
Here's what I've done so far ... Installed Active4D v3 in a 6.7
database structure using ITK (v2.6.2). I've copied over the ITK library
information and updated the SSL hook with the pathnames of the CERT and
KEY files. I'm using the Active 4D Web Demo files for testing purposes,
When using standard HTTP requests, the Active 4D pages show up fine.
When using HTTPS, they don't. I've done a port scan and port 443 is
being published. It's also not a firewall issue.
I know that the certificates are good, because I used them with a test
4D database I created in 2004 using 4DIC and the https worked fine.
I don't really know where to go from here with it.
Why are we still using 6.7 and v3? We're in the process of updating
this very old 6.7 database and I wanted to be able to use SSL and
Active4D v3 for a short time until the upgrade to 2004 can take place.
Thanks,
Darin
