Jason,
I'm awayfrom my documentation at the moment but I believe the default 'home
page' is 'default.a4d' not 'index.a4d' if I remember correctly.
Also make sure you don't have index.a4d.a4d (This caught me out in the past).
You can change the default home page in the Active4D.ini file.

Subject: [Active4d-dev] New to A4d Questions
I am starting an A4D Project.
I have followed the installation and configuration instructions to a
T (So I think that I am good here)
I have created a web_decoy folder in the root of my database
directory and set the Web Preferences in 4D to look at this folder. I
also have a web folder in the root of my database folder where I want
to put my pages.
I have created an index.a4d page that just has simple html in it for
now.
When I browse to localhost:8080, I dont get my index page, I get a
404 page served from a4d.
When I run the demo a4d project everything works fine and I get a
page when I browse to localhost:8080.
Can anyone give me a hand getting my a4d to work?
Thoughts?
