I dont know if it happens all the time. We have a development server
that we use, but are unable to get 4D's Register As Service to work
on it. Not sure why.

We cannot test this on the Production server except in the late late
evening and we have not had the chance to do this.

We'll try and test this by Monday.

We need to eliminate that as a variable.

If the license times out, the call to A4D Execute 4D Request returns
-2 as the status (page 67 of the manual).

OK. I see that it is part of the response. But, how would I
intercept this while using the shell as is?

Do I need to write something then that intercpets every request to the
A4D and look to see if the status code result is -2?

Uncomment A4D_PostExecuteHook in On Web Connection, and add $status as a parameter. In A4D_PostExecuteHook check the status and if it's A4D License Timed Out (-2) then set the response to what you want (you could read a document into the response blob), then set the Content-Length header to the size of the response blob.
