Glad you found it - sure did sound like the same problem I had. Guess you can ignore the post I just sent.

You might want to try downloading the plugin again. I know it says 4.0.2 is the latest, but I have another version that I was sent to test the fix to this problem. Not sure if he released a full version change.

We found the issue. Thanks Steve. It was multiple issues with libraries.

Here's what we found.

* The sites directory (where we strore all the virtual sites) had
._*.a4l files on it from temp files used by textmate.
* The bugger of a problem was that we found a blank file named the
same as a fusebox circuit. It was not even in the main directory of
the circuit, it was lower. A4D reported no errors but was hanging on
server start mostly (as far as we can tell) because of that blank
file.

The real nice part of the solution was to find that the Housekeeper
can be restarted from User Mode by running A4D_INIT on the server. It
kills the previous (hosed) process and starts a new fresh one that
will process all the zombies as expected. It even runs the code in On
Session End as it was supposed to and saved all the session data! Woo
hoo!

So this is a bug (IMO) and I've submitted it to A4D tracker. It is a
nasty one cause you really won't know it is happening unless you check
the sessions every time you update or change server files.

To address a previous question, I did not figure out a way to test
those a4L files even if they were just included in as regular a4d
files.

Thanks,
