I have experienced long startups also, but have resolved this by
deleting unused files. Since I came into this project, I didn't know
better initially. It was after working on another, which also started
with the demo files, I started deleting unused file. It was such a
problem early on that I had a timer wrapped around A4D Init. I
reduced the time from well over 1 minute to 1 second! It was time
well spent!
