We're using ExtJS in combo with some Active4D development as well. I
ended up tweaking the "a4d.json" library's "encode" and "encodeString"
methods to accept a second parameter that determined whether to write
out the result as a string or a literal. When configuring Ext
components, we just pass in the second parameter. When writing out
data,
we don't.
I would be interested in an example.
