Hi, some people seem to work on a NTK-based shell as an alternative to ITK/4D. Has anybody succeeded and uses NTK on a production-server yet ?
If so, - how does NTK behave in terms of performance and stability ? - would You be willing to share or sell your shell-code ? We are currently having some problems with the following issues (4D 2004 on WIN XP): - 4D apparently gives a rather low priority to 4D-web processes, which -in our case- sometimes heavily affects general responsiveness of the web server, when some computing-intensive 4D-methods (financial calculations) are evoked by web-requests. - we are using the common setup with apache as proxy to 4D to serve static content and are getting frequent 502-"bad gateway"- errors even when not under very heavy load- Il recall reading somewhere, that this is not un uncommun problem. Does anybody know, if switching to NTK or even the (outdated?) ITK would perhaps help to solve these problems. Thanks for your comments ...
