I turned on debug logging as explained in the documents, but I only see extra
entries if I use an invalid path in the virtualhosts.ini file? I don't see
extra entries for the valid paths. After saving with wordpad it will still
log the bad paths but must be getting hung up at the end of the file which
keeps the feature from working?

I was saving the file as a text file from wordpad. It still appears to be a
normal text document if I then open in notepad or e, but it must be changing
something that A4D doesn't like.

Maybe I had always used notepad in the past without realizing it? This is a
new Vista computer, and wordpad just came up first when I started editing
the the ini files. It wasn't a conscious decision on my part, but I'll be
sure to remember in the future.
