FYI:

My problem was an untrapped error in 4D code. 4D Server "knew" it had an
error during execution of the script and returned a 500 status code, even
though the response headers indicated a 200 status code.

I had an On Err Call("method"), but it was not executing for the failing
code.

No, you have to look at what is returned in the $responseHeader arrays from
A4D Execute 4D Request.
