I use TextMate. The things I like about it are:

PROS

+[1] there are Active4D plugins for it which make it highlight both html and
Active4D keywords

+[2] it's got a nice "Project" mode which lets you group all your scripts as a
project. You can do "Insidery" type stuff like do global finds and replacements
of variable names and keywords across the entire project with a single command

+[3] the A4D plugins let you template Fusebox documentation and some other fuses

+[4] last but not least, it's a proper text editor which means it's fast. (What
I mean by that is that there's not too much intelligence going on in the
background. On the other hand. apps like "MacRabbit Espresso" have a slight
delay whenever you type anything which makes it feel more like a terminal
window than an editor)

CONS

- [1] in project view, it adds a tab for every single document you access which
renders it kind of useless. It's easier to find your target script in the
hierarchical sidebar than a tab control with the last 20 items you accessed in
it

- [2] the reflective quote helper is a bit annoying. (That's when TextMate adds
a second quote mark as soon as you've typed one. You have to back space - then
it deletes both - then add a single one etc) but easily liveable with

Overall, the pluses far outweigh the minus IMHO.

OTHER APPS

Esspresso - looks promising but I still prefer the rawness of TextMate
http://macrabbit.com/espresso/
Coda - everyone says it's great but I've never used it and Active4D doesn't
seem to support it so I didn't bother
Dreamweaver - simply horrible ! :) Enough said.
