I use Dreamweaver too and agree about the code editor for Active4D. DW is OK for other languages and I really like the site management tools. I rarely use it in WYSIWYG mode. I haven't found anything that equals the site management tools, but should note that I have to support other projects, including one large PHP project that has hundreds of files. I also heavily rely on remote diff integration.
I'd like to hear more about SublimeText especially how well it works cross-platform (is the experience similar). After Aparajita noted it the other day I quickly looked at their web page and also read a Wiki article which said it "The program was originally designed as a feature-rich extension of Vim". Is that why it is 'cumbersome', e.g. it uses vi(m) shortcuts and edit modes? Despite all the rave reviews for Textmate, I've cautiously avoided it because it doesn't appear to be supported.
