Michael, I haven't done that but suspect it is possible. I work in a research program that just moved a number of non-4D sites to AWS. I may consider moving our 4D web apps there in the future. The person who set up all of the various web, db, ldap etc AWS EC2 instances gave us a demo of how things are configured. You can install redundant servers in different zones (so they would not all run in the same data center).
I believe you can get a free AWS account if you want to explore the options. -- Brad Perkins On 10/26/12 9:48 AM, "Michael Jarosz" <[email protected]> wrote: >Many thanks Wes > >Have you been able to set up multiple servers and a load balancer on >Amazon? > >Michael > > > >-- >View this message in context: >http://active4d-nabble.aparajitaworld.com/Recommend-4D-web-hosting-provide >r-tp4655286p4655288.html >Sent from the Active4D mailing list archive at Nabble.com. >_______________________________________________ >Active4D-dev mailing list >[email protected] >http://list.aparajitaworld.com/listinfo/active4d-dev >Archives: http://active4d-nabble.aparajitaworld.com/ _______________________________________________ Active4D-dev mailing list [email protected] http://list.aparajitaworld.com/listinfo/active4d-dev Archives: http://active4d-nabble.aparajitaworld.com/
