No, I'm not sure I'll need to go that far. As you say there may be other ways of tuning the performance. A front end cache or proxy to serve static content could be a good first step. We will certainly be monitoring performance to see what's needed. Our first customers will be in the UK, but could spread to five countries eventually. We might then use a content delivery network to provide a cache in each country. Do you have experience of running 4D behind an Apache proxy, ESXi or Xen?
