I know that the name is not the only reason why people report bugs in the wrong product. But probably the name "Active", which is not the name of the product, causes them to make even more mistakes. And even the description says "Active Project". This is bad branding imo. Our product is called "Plasma Active", not "Active", not "Active Project". This has to be communicated consistently, everywhere, even in the bug tracker.

Sorry, but this makes the usability professional me cringe. "What we want is smarter users" is the one argument against improving usability that we can never accept. And giving something a label that is familiar to users is an important aspect of usability, also for bug trackers. Sure, users will still make mistakes even with the correct label, but if we can help them make fewer mistakes, we should do so.
