The Microsoft Press book "Building Enterprise Active Directory Services" has a lot of information related to deployment planning and the impact (size/bandwidth) of adding Exchange 2000.

Thanks for the info. I currently have all my users in one OU - Corp Users.
Trying to figure out the best and recommended setup ie: by department. I
know this is a preference thing but I was wondering if there was a
recommended way to organize users/mailboxes into ous. I was planning by
department but wanted some other opinions on the the OU setup...

I'm not sure I understand your question regarding "Breakdown the User into
departmental OUs". Can you give us a little more detail on this? How are
your OUs currently set up?
The amount of space added by introducing Exchange 2000 depends on a number
of factors. Exchange 2000 extends the AD schema and roughly doubles the
number of attributes for mail-enabled objects. This is not however a good
indication of AD size increase as it depends on which attributes are used.
Have you looked at the ADSIZER tool yet? This might be of help:

zer-o.asp
There are a whole heap of things to consider when planning an Exchange 2000
implementation. A good starting point is Martin Tuip's site at
http://www.exchange-mail.org/.

What is the recommendation for exchange and active directories? Breakdown
the User into departmental OUs? How much space does exchange add to active
directories?
Has anyone used the admt? Have they had any success? I am having problems
with the computer migration. It gives me an error - computer agent depatch
failed.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation on this matter.
