Dear All,
Maybe I am just being stupid but I cannot get Group Policy to work !!
I have a simple test setup :-
1 Domain controller with AD (Service Pack 2) and 2 Win2K Professional
workstations (Service Pack 1).
I have used the MMC to make some simple changes to the Default Domain Policy
but when I log on with an Authenticated user the changes are not enforced.
The changes do however appear on the domain controller !
Am I missing a step ?
1. Standard workstation installation, accept all installation defaults,
successfully joined the domain.
2. Using "Active Directory Users and Computer", right click on domain name,
select "Properties" and then the "Group Policy" tab.
3. Edit "Default Domain Policy"
4. Although I don�t need to I logged out and logged back in again and
changes are seen on the domain controller.
5. Log in using a Domain user and the changes are not enforced !!!!!
What did I miss ?
