What type of errors did you get trying to transfer/seize the PDC emulator role? Did you try the steps outlined in Q255504?

The problem that I am facing is that the upgraded machine, OBAN, still thinks it is the PDC. At least that is what it says when I do a 'netdom query fsmo' on that machine. However when I do the same query on the other 2 servers, all 5 roles point to PAN. I have tried to transferring and seizing the role using the 'ntdsutil' to no avail. Is there a more forceful way I can tell OBAN that it is not the PDC, or should I just power it down and see what breaks???
