You can't open a contact's email because by definition a contact just
represents some external address. There is no mailbox to open.

Subject: [ActiveDir] Opening a contact's mail

I created a contact in AD and gave permissions to a user for the purpose of
sending and recieving e-mail from the general contact. I am wondering what
are
the next steps I take so that user can stay logged onto the network as
himself
and open up the contacts' mail in MS Outlook?

I've done this once before but I am forgetting a step this time. I've tried

the "Open Other Users Folder.." in Outlook option but receive this message,
Unable to display the folder, cannot open the mailbox for this user because
the
user does not have a server mailbox.
The error is referenced in this article:
http://support.microsoft.com/search/preview.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q280945
but I am still unable to solve the problem.

Thanks,
Amber
