Jochen,

Might I recommend a book that will help you through the GPO wars?

Roger Jennings (highly respected, long-time expert) has written a book
for the Admin 911 series called Admin 911 : Windows 2000 Group Policy.

This book is worth every penny. The other one that I would recommend as
a second acquisition is Jeremy Moskowitz's book on Windows 2000 Group
Policy, Profiles and IntelliMirror.

Good luck!
