Saeed,

Having no idea what your exact procedure was for backing up and
restoring this system (I make the rash assumption that it's a DC based
on your statements in this e-mail), I really can't diagnose the problem
fully.  It's possible that one of two things are going on:

1.  The SystemState Restore failed - Not unbelievable as a specific
procedure must be follwed to back AND restore.
2.  Name resolution is not functioning - facilities on the same system
may fail when trying to resolve its own name.

For #1, review this -

For #2, please check and make sure that DNS is runnig, the proper
records are registered.  Also, run a netdiag and a dcdiag in the verbose
mode.  Resolve in issues indicated.
