I thought *everyone* knew about this... yet another case of a MSFT gem

I was a reviewer on this doc early on, and I have to say its quite good.
It
follows the structure of the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure
Library www.itil.co.uk), a UK government-funded project to accumulate IT
best practices in a single (huge) document library. MSFT is producing
similar docs for other system services and applications, but I don't
know
where they are on it. Mike Barnard from MSFT did a great job on the AD
piece.

I have been searching for a document like this to go along with my
Architecture Document, and Implementation Document.  Figured I would
share
my find with you fine folks.  It serves as a good framework document.
