I've previously used the registry editing tools to import my settings via a login 
script.  I setup what I wanted on a machine then exported the stuff to a reg file.  
This was then called from a batch file in the users login script.  Once applied a 
check file was written to the machine so it didn't keep doing it. 

I don't have the details of the script but it was pretty straight forward.
