Todd,

As a more succinct follow-up to my past message, here's some information on
what's going on with the Verisign SMTP thing.....

<SNIP>

[arpa-jamie] /raid/home/jamie > telnet lkfjwlfkewjflwef.com 25 Trying
64.94.110.11...

Connected to lkfjwlfkewjflwef.com.

Escape character is '^]'.

220 sitefinder.verisign.com VeriSign mail rejector (Postfix) ehlo arpa.com
250-OK 250-PIPELINING 250-SIZE 10240000 250-ETRN 250-XVERP 250 8BITMIME mail
from:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 250 Ok rcpt to:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

550 <unknown[199.245.173.5]>: Client host rejected: The domain you are
trying to send mail to does not exist.

</SNIP>

Brings up a lot of interesting possibilities. None of which are productive.
However, sitefinder is responding to any SMTP call - at least as of this
writing.

Subject: [ActiveDir] Verisign/Site Finder and DDNS

Our network team made us aware of this change made by verisign that seems to
cause problems with SMTP. Is anyone here having problems with their DDNS
configurations due to the change. Does anyone know if someone is working on
a patch for MS DDNS.
