On the subject of LDIFDE, the input file is pretty tedious to manipulate in comparison to csv files. I created a mail merge word doc and used a csv file as the database and that worked okay. I read a lot of MS and other articles about LDIFDE... did I miss something or is it just always that tedious? We hadn't gone to Exchange 5.5 but upgraded our NT4 domain to W2K and wanted to import the details from E5.5 to AD without using the AD Connector. If I could have used csvde to modify like you can with Exchance it would have been a snap. Rich

If you are keen to use a CSV file, your best bet would be to use the CSVDE.EXE tool.
