Welcome to the list Sam. As far as I know there are no practical limits on the number of user (or other) objects you can put in a single OU. Or rather, there are limits but none that you or I are ever likely to reach.
You are far more likely to have problems with display limits with the AD msc snap-ins, although you can generally work around these. What sort of numbers are you thinking of? I am curious to learn the number of user objects that Active Directory can handle in a single OU, it surely must have a limit, any other limitations to the number of PC's that can join a domain etc would be great as well. Much appreciated, -- Sam Khoury Microsoft Support Officer ITS Networks & Computing Services Victoria University List info : http://www.activedir.org/mail_list.htm List FAQ : http://www.activedir.org/list_faq.htm List archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/activedir%40mail.activedir.org/ List info : http://www.activedir.org/mail_list.htm List FAQ : http://www.activedir.org/list_faq.htm List archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/activedir%40mail.activedir.org/
