Right. Questions about usage, concurrency, other apps
etc will also factor into what you're doing as well as network connections
etc.
I would guess that adsizer would be helpful to you in
sizing your Active Directory deployment.
Having a good understanding of the types of clients and the
usage patterns would be extremely helpful to you in the long run as
well.

The PDC emulator can take a big hit with a lot of downlevel clients. AD can handle it easily, but how well will your server hardware?
