SUS 2, which is due in beta within the next 30 days or so, is going to add Office and a few other products for patching, which really is all that SUS is missing.   I prefer the SUS methodology of an agent on the client that pulls down the updates as they are available - we have a lot of highly mobile users so that really makes things work well for us.
