I guess I have a question on this then.  What is the Microsoft recommended migration plan from SBS to a “real” WIN2k/2K3 domain?  It seems to me that if you purchase all of the correct CALS / Seat Licenses, Server Licenses, etc… then there should be no legal problems to this. This isn't for me so no licensing issues involved here.  Just brainstorming.    Hmm I always thought that you could not do that with SBS.  I've also read somewhere that you could not migrate users from an SBS built domain to another AD domain.  I assumed this was because you could not have Win2k or 2k3 DCs in the domain.  So would it also be possible to migrate users from an SBS domain to a Win2k domain?  Assuming of course you have license to do so.   Thanks for the clarification.   Mike   From: Michael B.
