There's a migration document that may help here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/techinfo/overview/sfncd.mspx
For Exchange, you can see a description of the
problem that Steve is talking about with "resource mailboxes" and the tool to
prevent it here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;274173 Your Win9x clients will need more than just the Active
Directory services. You'll likely have to make some adjustments to the way
authentication works in your 2003 domain(s), but test it and see what works for
you.

my 2-cents in... From an AD standpoint,
it is relatively straight forward. -But I do not have
experience upgrading from Novell. Your 98 clients (may)
have a problem connecting to w2k3. But, you can get around this by install
the AD client on the 98 system. From an Exchange
standpoint: Make sure that you do
not have multiple mailboxes attached to a single user. Exchange 2003 does
not support this. This was one of the things that bit us on resource
mailboxes (meeting rooms, etc). Are you considering
using third-party tools, such as NetIQ. It sure made our upgrade a lot
easier. S From:
