Subject: [ActiveDir] Ldap - linux slowdown in searching
Sensitivity: PrivateI am running into an issue with my linux boxes and ldap lookups on my DCs. About 4:30 each Friday (and usually last all weekend), my ldap searches go from 1 sec to 8 secs. I have been checking for increase in network activity (such has backups, etc) but can't find anything that could be causing the issue. I have been checking the logs to see if something is going on with the DCs (it's all three that the delay occurs) but can't find anything usual.
I checked CPU/Memory and they seem fine.
Has anyone seen this type of activity with linux/ldap/ad and how did they resolve it? Is there something I can look at on the dcs that could tell me if a defrag/replication or anything else may be causing this?
Thanks for any information and for a third set of eyes.
Kind Regards,
Jennifer Fountain
