You should possibly consider setting up some provisioning system that is specific to you guys. It asks the questions of the things you specifically need to know and then configures the proper settings. That way you have consistency in how your users are configured. It can save tremendous amounts of support time later when you go to track down why something doesn't work and it is because one help desk admin did things slightly differently.

Running AD 2000.  Have not made the move to 2003 yet.
 
Sorry in advance for the dumb question, but I have been tasked with writing a technical document for my help desk employees on how to create users in active directory.  I'm not only looking for a best practice, but also something that will teach them what each tab in the user's profile is/means.  I've down searches on TechNet and in the knowledge base but I have not come across that much.  Does anyone out there have any good links?
