If you are using active directory, why don't you just install Office
through group Policy. That way if there are files that are needed, the
computer can get them right away.

Subject: [ActiveDir] Office Install

I install MS Office 2000 on my master clone machine then ghost the
images on
to those lab machines. Once I join the computer to the domain and a
user
tries to use office it ask for the installation cds, why is this? It
happens will all users unless they are a local administrator.

Thanks
