Have you looked at either Microsoft File Server Migration toolkit available at
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/downloads/tools/default.mspx or alternatively running a backup and restore of the data from one location to the other (restoring security) You will need SID history in place for these to work. Good morning everyone, We're going to migrate our domain NT4 to 2003. We have a big file server. What's the best way to migrate ntfs permissions on each file ? Scripts ? We won't use admt and sid history, we will create a new 2003 domain.
