Have you looked at either

Microsoft File Server Migration toolkit available at

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/downloads/tools/default.mspx

or alternatively running a backup and restore of the data from one location
to the other (restoring security)

You will need SID history in place for these to work.

Subject: [ActiveDir] File servers permissions ?

Good morning everyone,

We're going to migrate our domain NT4 to 2003. We have a big file server.
What's the best way to migrate ntfs permissions on each file ? Scripts ?

We won't use admt and sid history, we will create a new 2003 domain.

Thanks,
