In a nutshell:

Citrix is a server based computing architecture, a more advanced form of
Microsoft Terminal Services, if you will. Using Citrix servers and
Citrix clients one can build a SBC infrastructure that has many
advantages over MS Terminal Services, including advanced reporting,
resource managing, etc.
If you're running Citrix, you'd know, as you'd have to install Citrix
servers and deploy the Citrix ICA clients. It's really hard to miss.
As Oracle is a database, you'll understand that Citrix and Oracle are
quite different.

Regards,

Paul.

PS: I'm sure one or two of the Citrix fans on here can offer a more
elaborate comparison, but I'd say this explains the basics rather
fittingly. ;)

Subject: Re: [ActiveDir] Citrix and AD migrations

Please can you tell me what citrix is? I read on thier website but
couldn't exactly understand it, I have errors in the event viewer
about DCOM not available, in the KB it says this error appears because
of citrix, I know all the machines on the network and never installed
something like that, so is it like oracle? how could I have a problem
because of it if I never installed it?
