Maybe I misunderstood the requirement then. If you're thinking something like ISA as a proxy for LDAP, then ADAM isn't the ticket. If you want something that can be a projected LDAP store, then ADAM would do it.
I wouldn't guess that a proxy would be too terribly difficult to write, but I'd have to wonder what the benefit would be vs. projecting the data to a store where the data is needed.
