W32time will synch as long as you leave the service running. It will peer up to the source and then synch periodically, 3x a day at the default IIRC. You can turn on logging and it will log to the event log if you want to keep an eye on it.
For W2K- Add the following values and bounce the service and it will write synchronization events to the system log.
