Hi Guido,
I don't know if it will help but I had an issue with this version of Novel client on windows 2000 workstations and servers. If thisclient was installed with TCP\IP settings it breaks e communication with windows server and couses a lot of troubles with redirector to SMB shares.
The problem was that client workstation was not able to connect to the sysvol for example using \\domain\sysvol or connect to shared printer or file.
hmm, I don't remeber if on NT 4 is something similiar to userenv logging but if it is You probably will see access denided or share is missing when te client will try to access logon scripts from the domain share.
The only solution I was able to figure out (this was almost 1,5 year ago) was to replace this client with ordinary MS Client for Novell Networks or install this client without TCP\IP support, but right now I think there should be a fix for it.
