Why not adopt this approach:

1. Rename the accounts (AD, NT, other...)
2. Rename the home area, assuming one exists (folder and share)

This (IMHO) is simpler and less disruptive than your approach.

Subject: [ActiveDir] Account Name Change

I recently had someone in my office get married and thus change their name. Last time this happened, I just created a new account in AD and moved the files and other important stuff from the old account to the new account. I was just wondering, is there an easier way to do this? Am I reinventing the wheel here? What do other people do in this situation?

Thanks
-Chris
