Ok cool
question then. I just (literally)
finished installing MOM 2005. In a prefect
world I’d love real-time alerts and also weekly reports because the VP’s
love pretty graphs J but for now I just want to get notified
when an account is deleted and or created. I do have auditing setup in the
domain. Will MOM
notify me of these alerts? (yes I’m in the middle of reading the manual
as wellJ) From:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of joe Are you looking for real time alerts or
just a daily/weekly report? If the former, enable auditing, set up MOM
or some other event log scraping tool and have it fire alerts. If the later, set up a script that queries
the directory looking for new user objects. That is combination of a filter for
user objects with a filter defining you want objects created after a specific
date or USN value. From:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mike Hogenauer Does anyone know
of any good tools that will notify me if a new AD account is Created/Deleted? I
have a lot of remote DCs and admins and I want to be notified when they add or
delete an account. I have auditing setup on their account and I run Eventcomb
daily for 630 events but I’m looking for a tool that will send me
notifications. Thanks in
advance Mike |
