I've seen it cause this issue as well. If you do, you might trying turning it off and seeing if the problem remains. Cheers On 7/13/05, Kern, Tom <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: I tried that. I don't think its a GC issue but an issue with rpc/udp and polling from Exchange. I tried this fix as well with no sucess- http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;839226 I'm running Office 2000 sp3. you'd figure turning off the firewall would help but logic doesn't seem to be on my side in this case. mail continues to sit in the Outbox until you clik a folder. same thing for recieve. Mail hangs in the Outbox for awhile and you don't recieve an email unless you click a folder in your Inbox, in effect forcing an RPC on Exchange. I tried diabling the firewall and I still have the issue. I've tried putting Oulook.exe as an exception and changing the scope to the ip of my Exchange 2k server and the issue still persists. Upgrading to Office 2003 is not an option right now. Does anyone know of some reg hack that can cure this problem? or has MS addressed this issue with a hot fix for Office 2000? Thanks and agin, sorry for being so painfully OT.
