The DHCP server obviously requires a static address, but
you can still enter a reservation for it so you see it in the
table.

is that if you change your DNS or WINS servers' IP addresses, router
address, or domain name, you don't have to visit every system to make the
change. You can just plan ahead, reduce the lease renewal period, and then
