192.168.16.1-192.168.16.9 is the DHCP exclusion range
Your SBS box sits at 192.168.16.2 with a static IP.
Piece of cake.

The DHCP server obviously requires a static address, but you can still
enter a reservation for it so you see it in the table.

Just so I am clear on this: you reserve the addresses and set the
servers to use DHCP. What about the DHCP server itself? What if that
is running on a DC?

A big pro is that if you change your DNS or WINS servers' IP
addresses, router address, or domain name, you don't have to visit
every system to make the change. You can just plan ahead, reduce the
lease renewal period, and then update the property in one location.

What are the pros and cons of using reservation with unlimited lease
instead of static addresses for servers and network printers?
Thanks a lot.
