You can try this.
On the file server run the command
NET FILE
Look for the files in question. Write down the
ID
Then when you have the IDs
NET FILE <ID> /CLOSE
DEL FILE
Obviously replace <ID> with the ID from the NET FILE
enumeration.
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ellis, Debbie Sent: Thursday, January 05, 2006 10:03 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [ActiveDir] Windows 2003 Server There are a few pdf files that I can
not delete on my file and print server. I have domain admin permissions and the
file is not read only. It gives me the error messages that the file is in
use. I don't want to reboot the server. Has anyone else had this problem and
what was the solution? |
