Hello all, here is a little problem that I would like to solve but I havn't been able to come up with a solution for.
I am running win98 and I was wondering if there was a way to get perl to read in my IP address without having to reference a webpage (no webservers/pages involved). That is I want perl to read in the results passed back by a program such as winipcfg. I looked through the registry, but I didn't find the IP there anywhere so that is not an option. I have a dynamic IP which always changes so I am trying to keep track of my IP. Any suggestions?
