Net::Ping

I installed the latest Active Perl on W2K and pretty much cut-n-paste the Net::Ping example (in the documentation) into a script and ran it. I get this error:   C:\data\Robomon>pinghosts.pl The Unsupported function alarm function is unimplemented at c:/Perl/lib/Net/Ping .pm line 308.     Is alarm() not supported on M$? Is Net::Ping hence not supported?   regards,   Adam
