Got Sockets?

I've installed 5.8.3 (809) on my Win2000 laptop. While trying to install ARSPerl, I was getting socket errors. At the advice of a colleague, I ran the ppm command "search socket". I got the same error. The error is:   ppm> search socket Searching in Active Repositories Bad arg length for Socket::unpack_sockaddr_in, length is 1024, should be 16 at E :/Perl/lib/Socket.pm line 370.   I got this with the 808 build as well. He's running ARSPerl, just upgraded to 809 from 808 and is not having any issues.   Any ideas?   Thanks,   Eric
