Hi, I needed to use Net-FTPSSL for a project & had to enhance it a bit & debug existing functionality to make it usable. So I thought I'd try to get these fixes posted to CPAN as v0.05 so that no one else would have to re-invent the wheel again. So can anyone give me any pointers on how to do this?
I probably fixed about two-thirds of the known bugs since they mostly had a common root of problems with response(). Sorry to say I didn't try to fix Implicit Connections at this time. The test scripts are also much improved. These changes have been tested with Perl v5.8.8 on both Windows & AIX Unix. So the bug list was very helpful. It's been over 3 years since the last upgrade & about 2 years since the author last said v0.05 was coming out in response to a reported bug. And his email address seems to no longer be active. So I guess it's safe to say that no one is maintaining this module any more. I have a complete Net-FTPSSL-0.05.tar.gz file ready to go once I know what to do with it. This is a pure Perl module.
